SUMMARY:
The purpose of the role is to mine, inspect, clean and transform the data with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision-making. The incumbent will manage data from various data sources and providing data-driven insights to relevant departments.

POSITION INFO:

Acquire and clean data from data sources and maintain databases
Ability to maintain large amounts of data backed up and accurate Interpret data, analyse results using applications such SQL, Excel or Power BI and provide ongoing reportsIdentify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Build and merge data from various data sources
Consistently provide relevant reports to management within set deadlines
Produce monthly performance reports for all identified staff

Requiements

Relevant Tertiary degree preferable (Statistics, Mathematics etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse data Proven working experience as a data analyst
Knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI or Qlik Sense
A deep passion for data analytics, trend analysis and personal development
