DTP Operator - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Calling all Desktop Publishing Operators/Artists in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

My Client a leading and well known company based in Cape Town requires a competent and experienced DTP Operator/Artist to join their team.

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To accurately produce repro-ready material that enables superior final print material within the allocated timeframes.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Utilize the creative supplied and create layouts and design with the new supplied brief and products as per client specifications within agreed timelines

Ensure for accuracy when integrating jobs and actioning changes through the system

File all artwork correctly and maintain back-up records consistently

Understand and adhere to solutions and systems

Maintain high levels of communication within the team and across all agency departments

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Matric with at least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role 

Thorough understanding of the print repro process

Strong layout ability

Ability to work on Macintosh platform ESSENTIAL

Must be Criminal Clear

must reside in the Greater Cape  Town area
