SUMMARY:
Umhlanga. Leading FMCG concern within the Personal Care industry seeks DTP Operator with relevant agency experience to join their Design team. Image retouching skills are essential.
POSITION INFO:
Will suit exceptionally detailed and accurate DTP candidate fluent in working with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign with an understanding of repro principles and print processes.
Prepare print-ready artwork for various printing processes and roll out artwork across platforms, edit text by making any necessary corrections, perform retouching including scanning, deep-etching, colour correction, masking, and comping.
Take responsibility for image sourcing and archiving as well as artwork backups, disking, and archiving. Maintain and update images on websites / e-commerce.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in DTP
- Mac proficient
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a thorough and methodical way
- Packaging experience advantageous
