SUMMARY:
Our client requires a candidate who has strong reconciling and debtors experience to deal with hardware retail outlets.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and requirements:

 3 or more year’s recent experience as a Credit Controller to perform the full function and have experience in the retail industry (hardware, automotive parts etc.)

                Computer literate Ms Office Suite and SAP is essential

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Own reliable transport
  • Deadline driven
  • Computer literate Ms Office Suite and SAP is essential
  • Monthly CGIC declaration review and highlight important issues
  • Open new accounts, perform credit checks and ensure that all the relevant documentation is in place
  • Deal with Customer queries
  • Phone for outstanding money
  • Reconcile debtor accounts
  • Report to management on all debtor related issues
  • Keep a record of all communication and correspondence
  • Work and liaise with management
  • Weekly update on Customers handed over and CGIC Claims
  • Send list of new Customers and/or credit limits to Credit Management on a biweekly basis
