SUMMARY:
A well-established air conditioning and ventilation company based in Cape Town’s northern suburbs is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide and issue accurate financial and administrative accounts for the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Day to day account administration duties such as processing accounts, monitoring and recording incoming and outgoing payments
Preparing and issuing invoices to customers to ensure payments are made on time
Verify and record transactions and resolve any account discrepancies or billing issues
Prepare invoices, statements, bank deposits and reports for the clients and company
Accurately manage and compile records of the company’s financial accounts, certifications and transactions
Ensure accounts are in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

5 years of experience in the construction industry
Experience working with a large debtors book, collections and claims
Extensive Pastel knowledge
Strong understanding of accounting principles and maths
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organisational and time management skills
Meticulous with strong attention to detail
