SUMMARY:
A well-established air conditioning and ventilation company based in Cape Town’s northern suburbs is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide and issue accurate financial and administrative accounts for the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day account administration duties such as processing accounts, monitoring and recording incoming and outgoing payments
  • Preparing and issuing invoices to customers to ensure payments are made on time
  • Verify and record transactions and resolve any account discrepancies or billing issues
  • Prepare invoices, statements, bank deposits and reports for the clients and company
  • Accurately manage and compile records of the company’s financial accounts, certifications and transactions
  • Ensure accounts are in compliance with financial policies and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Experience working with a large debtors book, collections and claims
  • Extensive Pastel knowledge
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and maths
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail
