DC Operations Controller

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Warehouse/Distribution essential.
• Managing routes for own distribution fleet
• Computer literacy — Microsoft Office, Syspro software.

Key Result Areas:

• Managing driver''s timetable and employees reporting to your structure.
• Ensure inventory records on the accounting system are accurate at all times, by ensuring that all stock movements are appropriately recorded and captured into Syspro.
• Cycle counts of responsible warehouses
• Ensure stock rotation is done properly
• Manage daily distribution planning.
• Optimal use of delivery structures — planning, routing, vehicles.
• Fuel usage management, Report on CPK/vehicle
• Incident reporting and prevention — breakdowns, hijackings, accidents.
