JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Non Stock – Samples, POS and Marketing Material
  • Manage and control of all Non Stock product and items. This includes Samples, Store Shopping Bags, Hangers, POS and any other marketing related material.
  •  Manage Non stock through the appropriate SOP and where none exist or are incomplete, draft and prepare these for submission, approval and implementation.
  • All Non Stock Items must be receipted, managed and issued using appropriate WMS or ERP systems, documentation and SOP’s.
  • Where Non Stock items are not managed through the WMS or ERP, a record must be kept, i.e Excel spreadsheet on the shared drive.
  • Ensure the appropriate inventory control measures are adhered to, practised and improved on a continuous basis.
  • Support marketing initiatives such as photo shoots and other events as required by Brand.
  • Any and all support for these events must first be approved by your line manager or the Supply Chian Executive before committing to the events

 

Building Maintenance

  • Manage general building maintenance (Office, Showrooms, DC and Building), repairing or
  • replacing items where necessary, either when broken or through preventative measures.
  • This includes but not limited to replacing light bulbs, door handles, furniture repairs, electric
  • fence, electric gates etc.
  • Where maintenance is not possible by yourself, contractors must be approached for quotes, submitted for approval and the work supervised, managed, and signed off.
  • Support the Health and Safety Officer and act upon his instructions to ensure that the business complies with the relevant regulatory acts.
  • Manage the Back up Generator as well as the sprinkler generator, ensuring they are always sufficiently fuelled with back up fuel and tested as per the required maintenance intervals.
  • Set up a CRM type call logging process for the business to submit maintenance issues, reply with a reference number (ticket) and keep the business informed on the progress of the ticket. No repairs or maintenance may be carried out without having issued a ticket. Ticket’s reference must be recorded on a spreadsheet with details of the ticket, action taken, current status and cost if any of the repair.

Your duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above and you may be required to do
work outside of the above as and when required.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Essential: Matric Qualification
  • Essential: Tertiary Certificate or Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain industry
  • Essential: Minimum of 3 years experience in Distribution, Warehousing; with emphasis on the Retail Footwear; Apparel/Fashion Industry.
  • Essential: Minimum of 3 years experience in directly managing people to deliver results.

  • Computer literate (MS Office) - Outlook, Excel , Word at intermediate level

  • Knowledge and understanding of warehouse layout and flow design
  • WMS, ERP experience knowledge
