JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cyber Security Team Assistant

Our client has a great company culture with a hybrid / remote work policy

The MDR team has grown to an amazing size and we are now needing to appoint a switched-on Team Assistant to take over all the administrative and recurring tasks in order for the Engineers to do what they do best.

This role is for someone that loves working within an IT/Cybersecurity environment, utilizing your organisation skills and ensuring that the team is together and administratively organised.

The successful person will assist both our Incident Response/Analyst team, our Cyber Security Officer and potentially other teams within the department.

Depending on your passion and aptitude, this is a great opportunity to get into Cyber Security with exposure to multiple roles, HOWEVER, your grammar, spelling and communication need to be A+

Skills / Experience & Personal Traits:
• Have a passion for administrative tasks and want to work within an IT / Cyber Security environment
• Some technical knowledge of computer systems. Potentially a qualification or some practical work experience
• Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Project management experience will be beneficial
• Good interpersonal skills
• Great organisational skills
• Detail orientated
• Strong communication skills with a level of confidence
• Deadline driven / orientated
• Self-starter
• You have an immense desire to learn and are always researching and investigating new solutions and ideas.


Job Role/Responsibilities:
• Liaising with SOC Analysts on stale cases to reduce the number of open cases
• Compile management reports for some of the Team Leads (other internal reporting)
• Drive internal projects – following up on tasks that require completion, ensuring targets are on track and deadlines are met
• Proofreading reports that are sent to clients, ensuring spelling, grammar and formatting is 100% correct and presentable.
• Creating, organising and maintaining all documentation, including templates, etc
