Cyber Security Engineer (Managed Services)

Please note that we will consider candidates residing in other provinces, i.e Gauteng

The ideal candidate will be someone with good work ethic, moral and values combined with a great passion for cybersecurity. This is an intermediate role, therefore needing someone with strong IT experience and cybersecurity understanding in the absence of cybersecurity experience.

Requirements
• 3 – 5 years Desktop Engineering/Support experience
• Microsoft or CompTIA Certification
• Strong interest in cyber security technologies
• A strong technical and business understanding of corporate business IT processes and environments
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advantageous
• Endpoint security products (DLP, EPP, EDR, Firewall, NGAV)
• Linux experience highly beneficial
• Knowledge of network technologies, diagrams and troubleshooting
• Leadership experience (overseeing Interns/Juniors)
