Customer Support Representative – Pietermaritzburg

POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for a responsible, friendly person to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• To effectively support and manage all customer expectations relating to daily orders, general queries, complaints and first level technical advice.
• Being the first contact point, in most cases, for internal and external customers
• Process all orders and enquiries placed by the trade as well as internal staff
• Answer all enquiries in a timely manner
• Handle basic customer complaints and negotiate suitable and professional solutions
• Ensure basic IT competence is improved at dealer level through explanation of IT systems (i.e. EC, EPC, Support Site, Web Warranty, etc)
• Find suitable alternative solutions where possible when ordered stock seems to be depleted and an alternative part or product could be offered instead
• Keep up-to-date with all Service Bulletins (SB’s) that contain information about “replaced by” part numbers
• Assist with E-Commerce administration and stock requirements
• Ensure a basic knowledge of all products is maintained and continuously developed
• Familiarise yourself with all company marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives
• Conduct yourself at all times as an integral part of the  Customer Support team by:
  • Filling in for missing team members
  • Ensuring timely, accurate and complete communication within the team
  • Acting professional both internally and externally
  • Supporting your team members wherever possible

• Matric
• 3-years previous experience in telesales
• Experience in sales processing;
• High level of competency in Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of IT systems and applications;
• Excellent communication, customer and staff relationship management skills;
• Pro-active, responsive and ability to meet deadlines and deliver results with passion and a sense of urgency;
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail;
• Methodical approach to managing workflow;
• Ability to work at a varied pace;
• Good time management and organisational skills;
• Active contributor to team culture.
