Customer Services Supervisor

SUMMARY:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Customer Services Supervisor is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the Jhb Customer Services function and to supervise the Customer Services Team.

POSITION INFO:

The primary responsibility of the Customer Services team is to manage the customer ordering process and to ensure that the customer receives a smooth, professional and efficient service each time they place an order and make an enquiry. This includes managing quotations, COD orders, courier services, customer queries, backorders, goods returned, complaints and credit requests.
This position supervises a team of three staff members.
Maintains the company’s Safety, Housekeeping and Quality Standards. Incumbents will be subject to mandatory testing for Alcohol and/or drugs on a random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, return to duty, and follow up basis.
Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to health & safety, well-being and the environment whilst complying with all laws and company policies.
The company operates in the Medical Devices and Printing & Packaging industries and holds an ISO13485:2016 quality management system certification.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:  Matric (Grade 12)
MINIMUM PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years working experience including 5 years as a Supervisor
TRAINING: In house

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL QUALITIES:

Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, assess priorities, and manage multiple activities with attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines under pressure. Proven experience supervising a team of people;
Excellent problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities.
Excellent PC skills (incl. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
Excellent telephone technique and attention to detail.

Excellent written & oral communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills and a proven history of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
