POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities will include:

This is a Supply Chain and Key Customer Accounts Manager role – requiring strong management skills and strategic thinking of lead times and factors affecting supply chain and logistics delivery capability processes
The team processes orders on SAP
Manage clients – order delays, delivery delays, out of stock product shortages, unforeseen issues
Manage the Customer Service Centre team to ensure smooth processes, customer satisfaction from order placement to delivery
Manage queries from Senior Management
Daily reporting and administration
Report monthly performance, budget variances and KPI’s
Improve the people, process and technology that supports daily completion of tasks
Drive improvement in the Customer experience and the internal efficiencies
Relationship management
Business development / improvements
Standard operating procedure management
Technology Support Implementation
Budget Management and strategy execution
Digitisation - Automation of non-value adding tasks
Staff and Team Management - Lead/develop staff in accordance with Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Skills Development Act

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

B.COM / B.SC in Logistics / Supply Chain / Industrial Engineering
5 years’ management experience
ERP Systems experience - Power BI and SAP BW (advantageous)
Digitalisation and/or optimisation projects experience (advantageous)
