JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Position:

Be the contact between Customer, Logistics, Sales, and Finance with regards to account issues, to ensure smooth running of the customer service function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily check customer credit limits and inform customers who are close to their limits, to smooth ordering process.
Handle all customer queries on the customer care line.
Be the contact between Customer, Logistics, Sales, and Finance with regards to account issues.
Communicate customer loads ETA’s
General account queries.
Do quarterly surveys with customers to rate overall company service.

Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12.
Tertiary Qualification in Sales.
Coming from a Call centre environment is preferred.
Understanding the full value chain from order placement till account payment.
SAP experience.

Technical Skills and Personal Attributes Requirements:

Customer service focused.
Understanding the Debtors process.
Commercial exposure to the retail environment.
PC literate especially MS Excel and MS Word.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Self-disciplined, able to work without supervision.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to influence people, from all cultures.
Ability to work within a team.
