Customer Interaction Representative

SUMMARY:
An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a dynamic French speaking Customer Service Representative to provide service excellence through effective interactions with customers based in Francophone African countries, ensuring business needs are fulfilled and sales targets are met in partnership with the commercial and supply chain teams.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a degree in Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain or related fields
• At least 3 years’ operational experience in customer service, commercial, logistics or administration will be required
• Experience within the Agricultural industry would be ideal
• Knowledge of IT systems and tools is preferred
• Must be fluent in English and French

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Functioning as primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Liaising with customers, directly and via sales team members.
• Analysing account history, understanding the region’s supply needs, and contributing towards decisions to optimize orders and product deliveries.
• Providing information on orders, supply availability, timing, updates on products and programs.
• Liaising with customers for missing Customer Master data information to process sales orders.
• Requesting customer feedback to track satisfaction levels and identify solutions to improve customer experience.
• Resolving any immediately addressable customer requests.
• Managing research, resolution, documentation and communication for complaints and errors.
• Involving Customer Operations for resolution of non-immediately resolvable requests.
• Partnering with Commercial and Supply Chain teams.
• Influencing product take and delivery timing to achieve financial targets.
• Providing overall business update and customer account information, such as availability dates, delivery forecast, targets and progress.
• Monitoring customer prioritization, delivery forecast targets and support product allocation management.
• Conducting training sessions and influencing customers to adopt new processes, tools, and systems.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Assisting new colleagues and providing function-specific peer-to-peer training.
