SALES ROLE: Account Manager position based in Cape Town
ABOUT THE COMPANY: Founded in 2005 this International  award-winning, and highly successful Cyber Security company based in the UK and Africa. Looking to grown the sales team in Gauteng.  The expansion is thanks to the success of their Managed Detection and Response Service and highly skilled resources (NOC and SOC) that are not only providing MDR but a wide range of solutions and services to customers throughout South Africa across all market sectors.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Required skills and experience: 
  • Previous sales experience in Information, Communications and Technology industry , (2 – 5 years), with previous experience in the Information Security Sales.
  • Sales experience covering Firewalls, end point security and network security.
  • Product knowledge with the following products (Palo Alto, HP Aruba, Rubrik, Okta among others) is desirable
  • Strong client relationship management and building skills
  • Solid track record in the achievement of set targets
  • New Business development - bringing new logo's on board 
  • Pipeline management and account planning
  • Excellent presentation skills at C level 
  • Good sales administration skills including working on a CRM
  • Excellent work tenure
  • Fluently written and spoken in the English language, competence in written dialogue
  • Ability to work under pressure, outgoing, open-minded, motivated and enthusiastic
  • Enjoy working within a team, where hard work is rewarded
  • Organised, Goal-driven, Motivated, Able to work Independently as well as Ambitious
  • Full Driving License/Car
  • South African Citizen
Duties: 
  • Managing existing accounts and building strong relationships to boost sales
  • Expand client portfolio within the region ( new business development)
  • Convert new business
  • Developing and strengthening new and existing client relationships
  • Achieve annual and quarterly targets with massive incentives
  • Encouraging prospects and customers to attend  workshops/event/webinars
  • Complete regular training to be up to date with all company products, solutions and company processes
  • Manage and maintain CRM system to log all client information, following internal processes
