Curator (Shop Manager) (JB1639)

Parkhurst, Johannesburg

R14 000 – R18 000 + OTE Incentive

Working Hours – 5 days a week 8am – 5pm (weekends and public holidays are their busiest days)

Duration: Permanent

Company Overview

Our client is looking for an “A” Team to join their exclusive Gifting and Hamper Emporium Brand. The ideal candidate would work with the Themes and Rhythm of the environment – e.g., night markets / activities in Fridays etc.

Owning Customer Experience - building the client’s brand by creating an unforgettable moment of happiness for customers. Overall responsibility for effective shop operations

Minimum Requirements

Hospitality industry (Front of House)

Possible food theatrical experience (extravert outgoing and well spoken)

People management

Must have experience with POS systems and dealing with money

Computer literacy

Stock reconciliations/stock control

Supply chain awareness, understanding the process and identifying/targeting opportunities would be advantageous.

Job Description

Customer engagement & service excellence experience

Brand / product stories

Cash management

Staff Training

Staff appearance and attitude

Product sampling

Shop Aesthetics - Merchandising and visual appearance of the store

HR at shop level – hiring casuals, scheduling staff rosters, conflict management etc

Customer conflict management

Delivering reports to Emporium business manager

Report writing

Stock integrity – stock takes, stock reconciliations

Stock replenishment

Maintaining an efficient and accurate financial software system – Palladium POS

Food safety quality management systems – cleanliness, health & safety etc

Sales result

Hamper building and stock reconciling
