SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Adherence to credit control policy
Monthly statements sent out to 30day customer by no later than the 7th of a month
Weekly schedules sent out to customers by no later than close of business on Wednesday
Ensure that monthly book value is maintained as per current KPI
Resolution of claims and queries within 60Days to ensure payment
Liaise with Sales, Distribution and Customers to achieve timeous resolution of claims and queries
Payments confirmed by the 12th of every month for 30day customers
Negotiate agreement with customer, covering payment and resolution of queries
Ensure prompt payments,
Timeous allocation of payments to ensure account has been paid in full
Maintain correct credit limits with Credit Insurer (provide input of potential customer growth in conjunction with Commerce)
Capturing of Trading Term and Ad hoc payments (Journals)
Feedback issues to line management
Achievement of service standards including telephone service levels and query resolution time frames,
Daily release of suspended orders
Work in collaboration with Customer Service to ensure delivery to customers are done OTIFNE
Work in collaboration with Key Account Managers and DSM to ensure no delay in deliveries due to unpaid invoices or claims and queries
Monthly customer visits to maintain customer relation
Timeous handover to attorneys
Contribution to achieve key results area
