SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Debtors / Creditors Clerk. Please note that this is a Half Day position. The successful applicant must be at a clerk level!

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric

Requirements

Based in Johannesburg or Pretoria.
Matric.
Minimum 5 years previous work experience as debtors/creditors clerk.
Own Transport (vehicle and driver’s license)

Duties

Invoicing
Maintains routine and accurate bookkeeping
Keeps records of payments made
Manages the collection of outstanding monies
Contacts companies who owe money in writing or by telephone to recover the outstanding balance
In non-payment cases, makes the decision to ‘hand over’ to lawyers for collection
