Creditors Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Are you a Creditors Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity to manage the full creditors function within a very successful company, look no further. The successful candidate will be responsible for duties related to accounts payable and maintaining standards within the company.

POSITION INFO:

Ensure payments to suppliers are made on time and according to payment policy

Preparation and checking of supplier reconciliations

Follow-up on all outstanding payments

Follow-up on creditor related issues and the tracking thereof

Processing some supplier invoices

Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reporting to management on creditor status / outstanding payments

Debit order reconciliations to supporting documentation

Ensure creditor payments are in line with the agreed budget process, i.e. timeframes

Supply input to the annual budget process and highlight monthly fluctuations timeously

Assist with creditors provisioning (accruals) of outstanding invoices

Internal and external creditors reconciliations

Age analysis reconciliations

Manage creditors clerks on a daily basis

Skills & Experience:

Experience in supervising creditors clerks (Non-negotiable)

Experience in recruiting (Non-negotiable)

Experience in training creditors clerks (Non-negotiable)

Experience in conducting performance reviews (Non-negotiable)

Pastel Evolution knowledge (Advantageous)

Qualification:

Grade 12 (Non-Negotiable)

A bookkeeping/accounting qualification (Advantageous)
