SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk and Admin Assistant (Bromhof, Randburg)

POSITION INFO:

Provide administrative and clerical support to accountant. The job entails control of creditors, provide admin assistance and support where required, ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in SAP Business One.

Job Functions:

vControl of in-house consumables ie. stationery and refreshments.

vAssistance with B-BBEE data gathering.

vTo accurately and efficiently capture invoices, transactions/payments in the accounting systems in order to reconcile supplier statements to invoices captured.

vCreate monthly reports prior to month-end for Accounts Dep. to indicate all monies owing with discounts offered and dates of when discounts are valid – to enable timeous payment with discounts included.

vCheck & match invoices against orders database in SAP ensuring that stock invoices have been GRV’d.

vSending Remittance Advices to supplier after completion of the Payment Run.

vFiling of copies of Invoices after processing.

vAccurately prepare Monthly reconciliations/reports of Creditors Accounts Statements against the Accounts Payable Age Analysis – check it is correctly recorded in SAP Business One.

vProduced monthly expense reconciliations in order to monitor monthly spend.

vMaintain creditors details on SAP Business One.

vBusiness Expenses / Expense Claims – capture local and international travel.

vAssist with POPIA Compliance.

vCo-ordinate Company Motor Vehicle services, fuel expense, required maintenance and licence renewals.

vCredit Cards Monthly Recon – reconciling credit card receipts to statement and processing on SAP Business one.

vDaily Bank Statement allocations.

vAd hoc duties as required to assist Accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

vAccounting/Bookkeeping (Diploma/Higher Certificate/similar).

vMinimum 3-years’ Experience - must include Full Creditors Function.

vProficient to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

vExposure to BEE: Minimum of 1-year Experience.

vStrong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent verbal & written communication skills.

vDemonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
