Job Description

  • Accurate processing of invoices on a daily basis and ensuring the correct allocation to supplier and general ledger accounts
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure all invoices and monthly statements are obtained.
  • Ensuring all invoices are properly authorized in accordance with levels of authority
  • Obtaining bank confirmations for suppliers
  • Monthly creditor’s reconciliations for the group
  • Monthly creditor’s age analysis commentary
  • Monthly preparation of accruals
  • Intercompany invoicing (processing and generating)
  • Capture all transactions on credit cards to the relevant GL accounts and project codes
  • Switchboard – answering the telephone, forwarding calls
  • Receiving visitors, arrange coffees and snacks when required
  • Travel and Accommodation bookings
  • Monthly staff welfare office supplies
  • Booking of office service providers as and when required
  • Supervise office cleaner
  • Administrative support as and when required

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant qualification would be advantageous
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Computer literacy: at least intermediate level (MS Office and Pastel)
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Be able to work under pressure, accurate reporting is essential
  • Excellent time management
  • Basic journal processing knowledge.
