Creditors Clerk (Local)

SUMMARY:
A leader in specialty chemicals with a global presence is on the lookout for a highly skilled Creditors Clerk for their local team.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate taking on the role of Local Creditors Clerk will be responsible for supporting the business through maintaining all local creditor information by providing accurate and reliable creditor reconciliations to base monthly payments. A major component within this role will also be to provide back-up for the Foreign and Stock Creditors Clerk. 

Key Responsibilities include:
The diligent preparation of all local creditor reconciliations timeously and efficiently.
Preparation of monthly service related accruals that are pending processing into JDE and form part of the GIT.
Obtaining of credit card supporting documentation and efficient processing of all expenses.
Obtaining of supporting information and billing.
Monthly processing of invoices from service providers.
Obtaining authorized schedules and ensuring accurate processing of service providers (courier services) invoices.
Providing backup for fleet processing and local voucher matching.
Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Financial)
Accredited Memberships (Financial)
5 years experience in a similar role
3+ years experience in a similar industry
