Requirements

• Computer literate on Pastel Partner and MS Office
• 5 Years'' experience in creditors
• Experience in buying office with quotes, purchase orders and general admin

Duties

• Accurately capture invoices in the pastel accounting system
• Keep accurate and complete records of Supplier Tax Invoices and POD’s/Service Reports (Systematic filing of these documents) in accordance with SARS & Companies Act requirements
• Ensure Tax Invoices comply with SARS requirements of a valid Tax Invoice
• Keep a record of Return to Supplier Vouchers and credit notes thereof. 
• Ensure record is kept of valid Confirmations of Bank Account Details of all preferred supplierss
• Ensure invoices are properly authorized in accordance with levels of authority and allocate it to correct Supplier & General Ledger accounts on a daily basis
• Check & match invoices against orders database 
• Daily posting of invoice batches to ensure live reporting of Accounts Payable is up to date
• Preparing invoices for payment and submitting it to the Financial Manager for payment 
• Sending Remittance Advices to supplier after completion of the Payment Run 
• Accurately prepare Monthly reconciliations of Creditors Accounts Statements against the A/P Age Analysis. 
• Completing credit applications for new supplier accounts 
• Maintain an excel file of supplier invoices captured in pastel for plant expense tracker
• Getting quotes from suppliers
• Source new and current products at cost effective prices
• Cost saving and cost cutting initiatives
• Source alternative suppliers for common products to gain price benefit
