Creditors Clerk / Accounts Payable Clerk

SUMMARY:
Shared Services concern based in Springs, has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk (Creditors Clerk) to join their team. Ensure that all invoices are processed within the SLA to ensure suppliers are paid on time and that all interactions and queries are logged and attended to promptly.

POSITION INFO:

Completed Matric (Maths and Accounting), with a Certificate / Diploma in Accounting or Degree or studying towards, coupled with 5+ years related Creditors experience within a Manufacturing concern.  Proven experience in processing 200+ accounts monthly essential. Receive and capture all suppliers invoices; perform a full VAT check before capturing an invoice to ensure good corporate governance and legislative requirements are met; make decisions on rejected invoices and route queries accordingly; resolve all customer enquiries within SLA; maintain database integrity by regular balancing of data between systems and investigation of anomalies on control reports; report all system problems to the responsible ICT Department and follow through to resolution; ensure that monthly capturing deadlines are met and adhered to in terms of the SLA; reconciling all supplier accounts within deadline, quickly and accurately; balancing payments and ensure all fixed expenses are paid on time and investigate and resolve AP queries.  Working knowledge of JDE / JDEdwards highly advanteous.
