Creditors Clerk - AA, EE only

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Creditors Clerk for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Grade 12 with recognized accounting qualification
• 3+ years’ experience and knowledge of creditors systems and reconciliations
• Experience in financial processes, policies, procedures and systems
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Pastel Evolution or other ERP system
• Clean credit history
• Candidate must be resident in Eastern Cape and due to their Equity Plan, only African candidates will be considered

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Daily matching of invoices, GRV’s and orders and correct GL Code allocations
• High volume invoice capturing on Sage Evolution and correct VAT allocation
• Reconcile supplier invoices and processing monthly accounts
• Process / prepare Lessor rentals and ensure municipality accounts are processed timeously
• Creditor payment verification, supplier payments and requisitions
• Reconcile fuel vouchers and follow up on outstanding invoices / statements
• Manage creditors email, handle all queries
• General filing and administration duties

 
Salary:  R-----.00 – R-----.00 per annum CTC including benefits
