POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing the Local creditors and payments function including but not limited to the following:
Capturing & maintaining supplier invoices
Reconciling creditor accounts
Preparing payment packs for loading onto various banking platforms
Preparing month-end cut-off schedules (prepayments & accruals)
Build and improve Supplier Relationships
Perform Internal Quality Control Standard Checks and Balances on creditor payments
Update the weekly cashflow forecast with local payments for submission to Head Office.
Compile Monthly Creditors Age Analysis and follow up on long outstanding creditors
Preparation of supplier application forms when required
Compile monthly VAT review and audit documentation
Other related responsibilities as required

Education and Experience:

Essential: Matric
Desirable: Relevant finance related, post â€“ matric qualification
Desirable: At least 2 years relevant experience in clothing and apparel industry (wholesale and retail environment)
Essential: At least 2 years relevant creditorsâ€™ experience in a similar role
