My Client in the Property industry is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

My Client in the Property industry is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their dynamic team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure supplier documentation is complete ie. GRV and supplier invoice matched
• Ensure supplier invoices are processed and reconciled to supplier statement each month
• Raise queries internally and with suppliers
• Pass necessary supplier journals
• Prepare month end creditors reconciliations / remittances within deadline
• Matching of debits and credits
• Overall management of the creditors age analysis
• Ensure available terms, rebates and discounts are maximized where applicable
• Maintain a proper supplier documentation filing/archiving system
• Assist auditors with queries pertaining to suppliers
• Other ad hoc financial and administrative tasks delegated by supervisor ie. Till relief, cashups, reception duty

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12, Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
• Tertiary Qualification Essential
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Creditors Clerk
• Computer literate
• Experience in Pastel Essential
• Experience with a large volume of creditors +-280 creditors across 5 entities
