Creditors Clerk

SUMMARY:
My client in the printing industry is seeking a Creditors Clerk

POSITION INFO:

• Capturing of supplier invoices
• Loading supplier payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
• Monthly supplier recons to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Liaising with suppliers regarding the opening of new supplier accounts and answering all supplier queries

• Capturing FNB fleet cards
• Fleet Card management including new card registrations and logging onto the fleet management portal to ensure all cards are active, ordered, cancelled, etc.
• Ensure that each department head signs off on their relevant fleet statements each month
• Capturing of supplier invoices
• Loading supplier payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
• Monthly supplier recons to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Liaising with suppliers regarding the opening of new supplier accounts and answering all supplier queries
• Manage customer cash accounts by ensuring all invoices are paid
• Process cash transactions (petty cash & credit card payments from customers) daily
• Amending invoice details on the system such as PO numbers, company names, VAT numbers etc.
• Sending foreign supplier documents to the FNB Forex department as and when requested
• Providing support to the Finance Department
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, etc.
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
• Maintenance and ordering of stationery for head office
• Maintenance of monthly cellphones and petrol allowance for sales reps
• Assist the Financial Manager in ad-hoc admin duties
• Assisting with debtors – if branches need assistance on invoicing accounts being over terms/credit limit (only in the event of the Credit Controller being absent)
