SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk - George - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established company based in George, Western Cape, is seeking to employ a Creditors Clerk.
 
Duties (but not limited to):

• Ensure supplier accounts details are current and up to date
• Check and ensure all relevant documentation are received and approved
• Process Supplier Invoices
• Validate orders with invoices for accuracy
• Reconcile supplier accounts
• Follow up on discrepancies
• Monitor and follow up on all outstanding supplier documentation
• Liaise with warehouse staff for inventory items received & purchased
• Ensure all filing of creditors support documents are in order and neat
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment schedules
• Monthly reporting to FM

• Prior experience in handling Creditors 
• Accounting qualification is beneficial
• Must have Grade 12 
• Experience in the Construction Industry would be beneficial
• Fluency in both English & Afrikaans

• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
• Be assertive and have a mature approach
• Be able to work both independently and in a team
• Be self-motivated and results driven
• Be able to work accurately in a highly pressurized environment
• Be organized and keep their work area neat and tidy
• Disciplined in following procedures when executing tasks
