SUMMARY:
A company based in the East Rand has a vacancy for a Creditors Clerk. This is permanent position.

POSITION INFO:

Creditors Clerk:

Core Duties:

Supplier invoice processing
Intercompany invoice processing
Processing of employee expense claims
Petty Cash processing
Supplier reconciliations
Payment runs
Forex Payments
Intercompany processing
Travel Advances
Review of Bank Reconciliations and
New Supplier account creation – collation of documentation and approvals
Supplier remittances
Goods not Received report & closing of old PO`s
Completion of payment approval sheets
Filing
Supplier query resolution
Ad hoc admin/finance tasks
Once payments are made – prepare and email remittances to suppliers where necessary
Liaise with suppliers regarding accounts – follow up on queries

Preferred Minimum:

Grade 12 certificate with maths and/or accounting

Minimum 3 years working experience in Accounts Payable in a multinational concern

Computer literate and efficient on Microsoft windows programs especially MS Excel

Experience working on Oracle would be advantageous

Essential:

Honest and trustworthy individual

Strong knowledge of accounts payable

Ability to work with little or no supervision

Good command of the English business language, both written and spoken and ability to communicate up to executive level

Customer care orientated

Be able to work in a fast pace multi-task environment

Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential information

Professional and ethical at all times and act with discretion

Attention to detail.

Able to work flexible and long hours

Compliant to core mandatory controls and financial regulations
