Creditors Clerk

SUMMARY:
The Capital Support Office is recruiting a Creditors Clerk - based in Sandton.

POSITION INFO:

The Capital Hotels and Apartments is the fastest growing hotel group in South Africa and are the leaders and specialists in the extended stay/serviced apartment/apartment hotel sector. We are currently constructing two properties per year. This high paced growth requires ambitious and talented employees and provides such employees with promotional opportunities as they move into our newly constructed properties.

Key Performance Areas:

• Create/Capture Supplier invoices on Evolution
• Create/Capture Supplier PO’s on Evolution
• Archiving of Supplier Documents
• Filing of Supplier documentation
• Supplier recons
• Maintaining Project Files
• Assist With compilation of BBBEE required information for Procurement
• Assisting with, requesting outstanding invoices & statements from suppliers at month end and when required
• Recording of EFT number on all Final Payment reports

Requirements

• Matric with a pass in Mathematics
• Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or studying towards one)
• 5+ years’ experience as a Creditors Clerk/Administrator/Bookkeeper
• Experience in hospitality industry preferred
• Computer literacy (Excel, Pastel Evolution and Outlook)
• Hands on Problem Solving approach
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
• Honest and trustworthy beyond approach
• Great attention to detail
• Presentable and well spoken
• Team Player who leads by example
