Creditors Clerk

POSITION INFO:

Join this industry leader in delivering world-class integrity and engineering solutions to both local and international markets as a Creditors Clerk, responsibilities include the accurate processing and reconciliation of all invoices for payment within the group. Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.

Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Effective verbal, written and listening communications skills

Computer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheet, and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level

Qualification

National Diploma or BTech degree

Skills & Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Issuing purchase orders in accordance with procurement process.

Capturing and processing all invoices for relevant entities.

Ensuring that all payments are paid on time.

Administration of credit card transactions and supporting documents.

Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Effective verbal, written and listening communications skills

Time management skills

Computer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheet, and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level
