SUMMARY:
A Retail Company in Edenvale is in need of a Creditors Clerk to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Responsible for Creditors Payments, invoicing and recording of financial transactions
Capturing and processing all invoices
Ensuring that all payments that are paid comply with the set standards and contain all the necessary required information
Ensure that claims are paid timeously and correctly
Ensure that all invoices and supporting documentation is complete and approved
Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerised accounting system
Maintain the accounts payable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records and file all documentations
Maintain, update, create, secure, and archive petty cash records and files

Requirements:

Must have accounting knowledge (Reconciling accounts or working with debtors, creditors will be advantage)
Computer Literate (Exposure to SAP will be advantage and must be able to work on excel doing basic formulas and be able to do sheets etc.)
Previous Retail experience will be an advantage
Problem solving skills is imperative
Have ability to build trusting relationships with suppliers and store staff via e-mail and telephonically and in person
Must look presentable and professional as we work with Suppliers
Be able to handle queries with branches or supplier efficiently and friendly, need very good communication skills in English
Be time competent
Self-motivating
Physically be able to do filling
Must be able to work under some pressure and meeting deadlines
