SUMMARY:
Our client is one of South Africaâ€™s leading and progressive distributors of footwear, handbags, luggage etc. They pride themselves on offering a transcendent wholesale experience. They are currently looking to fill a role for Creditors Clerk in their finance department.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

To accurately capture invoices in the accounting systems in order to effect payment on time and accurately to Creditors
Ensure invoices are properly authorized in accordance with levels of authority and allocate it to correct Supplier & General Ledger accounts on a daily basis
Check & match invoices against orders database
Payment of Invoices
Capture payments
Sending Remittance Advices to supplier after completion of the Payment Run
Filing of Invoices after Payment Run
Accurately prepare Monthly reconciliations of Creditors Accounts Statements against the A/P Age Analysis.
Accurately reconcile G/L and Creditors Accounts on a Monthly basis to make sure that accounts are correctly balanced
Anything that might be requested from your manager / director

Experience/skills:

Grade 12/Matric essential
Knowledge of Accounting Systems (i.e. Great Plains or JD Edwards) will be advantageous.
3-5 years creditors experience
