Working hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 17:00
Area: Centurion
Our client that operates within the Financial Services industry has an opportunity for an experienced Creditors Clerk in Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric
2+ years working experience as a Creditors Clerk
Strong reconciliation and payment processing skills
MS Excel and accounting software experience

Duties will include but not be limited to:
Creditor Management:

Process and manage vendor invoices, statements and payments.
Verify creditor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Enforce vendor application process.
Onboarding and vetting of vendors.
Verify vendor banking details.
Loading beneficiaries on Bank Accounts.
Quarterly Bank beneficiary audit.
Process vendor payments and saving proof of payments.
Process investor & client’s payments and saving proof of payments.
Communicate with vendors to resolve queries, discrepancies and payment issues.
Manage records (invoices) by filing current records and archiving records older than 5 years for auditing purposes.
E-mail remittance advises to suppliers when payment is made to clear the correct invoice on the supplier statement.
Provide information and documentation related to financial transactions recorded in the annual financial statement

Reconciliations:

Preform regular reconciliations of vendor statements & Invoices
Daily, weekly, monthly bank reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and correct creditors, debtors and GL allocations.

Reporting:

Preparing monthly client statements.
Preparing monthly investor schedules.
Preparing month-end journals.
Preparing investment offers for Financial Managers.
Assisting financial managers with annual financial audit.
Execute ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
