POSITION INFO:

Looking for a change!!.

Wonderful opportunity to join an established Distribution and wholesale company based in Melrose Arch.

Must come from FMCG enviroment

Must have at least 2-5 years working experience as a Creditors Clerk taking charge of the full function of credtors in the department  witha stable track record and Experience with rebates and supplier claims.

 KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Manage the creditors clerk who captures all creditors stock invoices into Pastel

• Capture all non-stock supplier creditors into Pastel

• Reconciliation of creditors statements to detailed creditors ledger
• Processing of rebates and claims in accordance with deal sheets supplied by procurement department
• Preparation of supplier payment packs in accordance with supplier terms and internal controls
• Update and management of pallets receipts and returns
• Management of required performances to achieve rebates and spends set out in supplier agreements
• Sending of remittance advices and dealing with creditors queries
• Ad hoc reporting and reciliations requested by the procurement department and senior accounting team

Qualifications 

• Matric
• Bookeeping diploma or studing towards BCom Accounting or completed 

 Skills required  

• Experience in working with the accounts payable module on Pastel - not negotiable  
• Experience in credtors function 
• Experience with rebates and supplier claims
• Experience with Excel

 Attributes To have 

• Accurate and timely capture and reconciliation of all creditors invoices and related claims into the system

  Accurate and timely payment of all creditors invoices according to terms and negotiated deals

  Accurate and timely reconciliation and record keeping of pallets receipts and returns to suppliers

  Creditors Age analysis is analysed and agrees to reconciliations and payments prepared
