Credit controller - 3 Months Contract

SUMMARY:
A company in  Middelburg is looking for a Credit controller for a period of 3 months (90 days)

POSITION INFO:

Key Outputs

• Build and sustain internal and external customer relationships.
• Manage Customer Accounts.
• Liaise with client departments to ensure and enhance an effective collection process.
• Effective self-management and performance ownership.
• Month end: Printing and distributing of statements and query lists to customers and internal personnel.
• Allocation of payments and capturing of query lists on SAP.
• Follow-up on queries, reprinting of invoices, finding POD’s, resolving price discrepancies internally and externally.
• Monthly cash flow forecast
• Monthly visits to key customers, their stores, engineers and payment offices.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Matric coupled with 2-3 years debtors experience or equivalent.
• Financial qualification and background will be an advantage.
• Sound interpersonal Skills.
• MS Office and SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Previous credit control experience will be an advantage.
• Attention to detail and a systematic, organized approach to work are very important.
• Works independently Ability to work in a team and is self-driven
• Must be able to work under extreme pressure and workloads.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
