Credit Vet and Risk Agent

SUMMARY:
Handles credit assessments and makes appropriate determinations as per company guidelines. Credit Controllers must have the critical thinking skills needed to mitigate credit risk and maintain credit control systems. A Credit Controller also handles tasks like negotiating payment plans, improving debt collection processes, and maintaining accurate records of financial activity.

POSITION INFO:

Job Objectives

• To implement the existing Credit Vet policies and procedures for Consumer and Enterprise to ensure the risk associated with this is managed effectively and efficiently.
• To manage Rica compliance
• Manage productivity and workflows
• Be a decision maker – handle escalations
• Manage their own workload - meet their daily ticket requirement whilst attending to their team.

Job Skills

• Knowledge of Company policies

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Addressing and resolving problems and escalations

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• 3 years in Credit Risk assessment
• Advanced EXCEL skills
• Knowledge of Telco products and services
• Knowledge of the RICA Act
• Knowledge of the National Credit Act
