Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable

SUMMARY:
Available immediately? Large Shared Services company based in Springs, has an opening for a Credit Controller / Accounts Receivables Clerk to join their team. Completed Matric (Maths and Accounting), with a Financial Management / Accounting Degree, Diploma or Certificate advantageous.

POSITION INFO:

Provide financial and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate collection and allocation of payments on customer accounts.  This includes resolving discrepancies and queries.  Report to the Team Leader.  Position requires a person with minimum 5 years related experience as a Credit Controller, ideally from a high processing Manufacturing concern. Prepare bi-weekly cashflow forecast updated on a daily basis, distribute invoices and statements; telephonic collections and logging of customer interactions; collect, follow-up on, and allocate payments within agreed payment terms; collection and reporting of activities according to specific deadlines; perform local cash control account reconciliations; generate and distribute weekly age analysis; investigate and follow-up on unidentified receipts; ensure that entries relating to inter-company cash transfers are posted accurately (control account clearing); process adjustments; collect relevant data and prepare month-end statements; assist with month-end reports; ensure queries are resolved with the SLA timeframe, and maintain filing system.  Recent experience on JDE advantageous as well as good MSExcel skills.
