Job Position: Credit Controller

Salary: R15 000 to R18 000 pm commensurate with experience

Qualifications / Requirements:

• B.Com or other appropriate qualification
• Minimum of 5 years credit control experience
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work with individuals at all levels
• Ability to work under pressure and be able to deliver accurate work in a tight time frame
• Good team player with a positive mindset

Key Performance Areas:

• Process customer registration / credit applications
• Assess customer credit worthiness and report on same
• Credit risk mitigation
• Liaise with customers to facilitate customer registration and payments
• Ensure smooth running of Credit Department processes and procedures
• Ensure annual review of each customer is performed
• Liaise with credit insurers in respect of policies and claims
• Contact customer trade references
• Compile monthly reports
