Qualifications / Requirements:

B.Com or other appropriate qualification
Minimum of 5 years credit control experience
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work with individuals at all levels
Ability to work under pressure and be able to deliver accurate work in a tight time frame
Good team player with a positive mindset

Key Performance Areas:

Process customer registration / credit applications
Assess customer credit worthiness and report on same
Credit risk mitigation
Liaise with customers to facilitate customer registration and payments
Ensure smooth running of Credit Department processes and procedures
Ensure annual review of each customer is performed
Liaise with credit insurers in respect of policies and claims
Contact customer trade references
Compile monthly reports
