Credit Controller

POSITION INFO:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller in the Germiston area, to be responsible for credit control of clients, including credit rating assessments, cash collection and debt recovery tasks, resolving client queries, proactively chasing internal departments for help in resolving client queries.

Requirements: 

• National Senior certificate
• Diploma in credit management (Essential)
• Pastel Evolution experience 
• Advanced Excel (Essential)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform in a high pressure environment

Other:

• Clear Credit and Criminal Checks
• South African Citizenship

Responsibilities: 

• Resolving any discrepancies, collections problems and customer queries.
• Maintaining contact with clients via phone and email to ensure invoices are clear for payment, maintaining an accurate record of all actions taken.
• Controls and reconciles accounts as directed by credit manager.
• Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
• Allocating payments.
• Preparing regular customer statements.
• Checking customer’s credit ratings.
• Liaising with branches and operational departments.
