Credit Controller

SUMMARY:
This role has responsibility for credit control of our clients, including credit rating assessments, cash collection and debt recovery tasks, resolving client queries, proactively chasing internal departments for help in resolution of client queries.

Area: Germiston

Salary: Negotiable up to R18 000 CTC

This role has responsibility for credit control of our clients, including credit rating assessments, cash

collection and debt recovery tasks, resolving client queries, proactively chasing internal departments

for help in resolution of client queries.

Responsibilities

ï‚· Resolving any discrepancies, collections problems and customer queries.

ï‚· Maintaining contact with clients via phone and email to ensure invoices are clear for payment,

maintaining an accurate record of all actions taken.

ï‚· Controls and reconciles accounts as directed by credit manager.

ï‚· Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.

ï‚· Allocating payments.

ï‚· Preparing regular customer statements.

ï‚· Checking customer’s credit ratings.

ï‚· Liaising with branches and operational departments.

Prerequisites

Educational level or equivalent:

• National Senior certificate

• Diploma in credit management

• Advanced Excel

Professional experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Good interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform in a high pressure environment

• Clear Credit and Criminal checks

• Validation of Highest Level of Education

• Valid References

• South African citizenship
