POSITION INFO:
Qualification

Matric
Certificate in Credit Management 1 or above

Requirements

5 Years experience as Credit Controller / Debtors within the retail industry.
Experience with a minimum book value of over R50 million.
Must be able to do reconciliations and able to convert foreign currency.
Good knowledge of credit management principles.
Computer literate on MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Duties

Payment collection of all terms accounts allocated to you
Manage debtors accounts within the trading terms as agreed with the customer
Manage debtors accounts credit limits within company policy guidelines
Reduction of overdue debt greater than 90 days
Resolve customer disputes and/or claims on terms and retail accounts within the same month it is raised
Customer account reconciliations
Assess new account applications - prepare customer files
Credit review of existing accounts
