SUMMARY:
Vacancy for a Credit Controller currently exist within the timber industry, based in Langlaagte, Johannesburg South.

POSITION INFO:

Accountabilities

Capture daily payments received from customers
Follow up on outstanding/overdue accounts
Check credit limits daily
Do reconciliation of payments
Assist with customer POD/invoice requests
Send out daily invoices /credit notes
Process credit notes
Track and follow-up on payments from customers with special arrangements
Opening of new accounts on system
Inform customers of approved credit applications
Ensure opening of new customer files
Send out monthly statements
Release orders captured by Sales Department on the dash
Implement and maintain group credit policy
Weekly feedback on Age Analysis to Credit Manager

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Previous experience in Credit Control minimum 3-5 years
Knowledge of MS Office products
Knowledge of Pastel Evolution will be an added advantage
