Credit Controller

SUMMARY:
Do you have solid Credit Control experience working for a large Corporate Company? Our client an International concern requires an energetic and enterprising well spoken individual who is looking for a new financial position with experience in Credit Control and Debtors.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric

Relevant qualification in finance / accounting advantageous

Min 3 years working experience in debtors dealing with financial statements

Ability to recognise issues and use initiative to identify and discuss proposed solutions

Intermediate Excel essential

Confident team player

DUTIES:

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager

Manage, update and maintain allocated debtors books

Reconciliation of debtor accounts

Resolution of any queries or issues with debtor statements

Production of accurate and timely debtor statements

Reports and reconciliations

Allocate and reconcile debtors accounts on an ongoing basis

Maintain complete and proper records of revenue and debtors and ensure accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial information

Compile weekly age analysis report

Ensure allocation of payments is correct according to debtor remittance and debtor correspondence

Monitor debt accounts in arrears and escalate for collection

Engage with debtors and internal customers in a professional manner

Open item and balance brought forward accounting principles

SALARY:  R16 – R20 000 Dependent on experience
