Credit Controller

POSITION INFO:

Are you an experienced Credit Controller with excellent admin, people and computer skills? Your full Credit Control experience together with a professional attitude towards your career is what we are looking for.

Requirements:

Matric with relevant qualification

Duties:

Setting up of debtor accounts with terms and conditions
Dealing with customer queries and resolving them
Ensuring customers pay on time and following up on any overdue payments
Review debt recovery procedures, stop supply of goods and service to customer with overdue amount, following up on arrears and making sure the outstanding monies are recovered
Generating bank statements & allocating payments accordingly
Capturing daily payments into the cash book for chain stores & other clients
Reconciling customer accounts, processing credits and discounts
E-mailing Statements and Invoices in the prescribed period to all suppliers
Taking and processing customers’ orders accurately and on time, raise pro-forma invoices / quotations for new & existing clients
Tracking orders, escalating delivery issues and liaising with clients and associates, making sure process is completed
Monitoring backorders with stock receipts
Creating new stock and barcodes on Pastel system, maintaining all stock codes
Liaising with all retailers regarding product codes and barcodes for all core and promotional items
Inventory adjustments journals on Pastel system
Processing receipts of all overseas shipments onto the Pastel system after calculating the cost of each stock item in Excel
Checking the foreign currency exchange rates, load correct Duties, Clearing, VAT, etc
Once Excel sheet is accurate load the supplier invoice into the Pastel system
Capture all supplier invoices, maintenance and processing of payments
- Prepare current analysis of agent outstanding balance report.
- Prepare statements for outstanding premiums
- Prepare and monitor account queries
- Process monthly statements
