Creative Designer

SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is looking for a Creative Designer to design brochures, logos, signs, books, covers, annual reports, animations, presentations, info-graphics, advertisements, and other communication materials based on the brief from the internal division.

POSITION INFO:

Critical Requirements - Skills,  Experience & Qualifications

• Essential Matric or Grade 12
• Bachelors-degree or suitable Project Management Certification (CAPM, PMP, Prince2, or Agile Project Management)
• Knowledge/ experience in SCRUM (Preferable Certified Scrum Master)
• 3 years experience in Project Management
• Car and driver’s license.
• Experience in Project Management tools such as MS Projects and Smartsheet.

• Design brochures, logos, signs, books, covers, annual reports, animations, presentations, infographics, advertisements, and other communication materials based on the brief from the internal division.
• Create these materials using technology, including computer software programs like Adobe''s Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more. This includes the use of the entire Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Document formatting in MS Word to Datacentrix documentation template designed and Corporate Identity.
• Meet with internal business units to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like.
• Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
• Produce drafts for review by internal business units and make revisions based on the feedback received.
• Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect internal business unit’s specifications.
• May be asked to support bid managers in managing or participating in preparing bid responses, as part of the bid office team function.
