Courier Operations Representative (R18 000.00 + R7 000.00 variable) - About The Role and What You'll Need

We're looking for a growth-oriented “rock star” to help grow Company Everywhere as part of the

team in South Africa. The role is responsible for driving various growth initiatives to the courier base

in areas while improving efficiency and quality. The right candidate will be analytical, business

savvy, able to make data-driven decisions, and also innovative in developing growth strategies for

the market.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Define and create a courier acquisition plan.
  2. Optimize acquisition funnels so that we understand where and how to invest in our most efficient channels.
  3. Understand the local market dynamics of couriers to drive segmentation strategy with the goal of increasing conversion.
  4. Be bold and innovative to design and drive high-growth strategic initiatives focusing on efficiency and quality.
  5. Identify and make our metrics visible surrounding our business operations.
  6. Innovation starts with data intelligence, and the right metrics are at the foundation of data intelligence
  7. Collaborate with all other functional teams in South Africa and across the Sub-Saharan African region to get input and buy-in to scale markets efficiently

Minimum requirements:

  • 1+ years of operations or related experience in a rapidly changing environment; Evidence of ownership of a project with many stakeholders highly valued
  • Analytical ability: Ability to draw key insights from analysis. Knowledge of SQL and experience with other statistical packages or basic programming skills is highly regarded
  • Creative mindset: Innovative problem solver who is not afraid of creating and implementing new tactics that help with the rapid scaling and growth of the courier base

Understands what a robust process looks like and can build, iterate, and eventually automate the process in a scalable way

  • Effective collaboration and communication:

Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and levels, from communication to execution

 

COMPETENCIES - Functional Expertise
