SUMMARY:
A leading multinational organisation has a strategic role available for a Country Sourcing Manager to join their winning team! MUST have Direct Sourcing experience!!

POSITION INFO:

POSITION : COUNTRY SOURCING MANAGER
LOCATION : EASTERN SUBURBS JHB
SALARY : BASIC PER MONTH PLUS BENEFITS

Reporting line for the position is to Global Sourcing not based locally!

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

COMPLETED University Degree, in Engineering.
Specialized and certified in supply chain, CPIS qualification
Min. 8 years’ of experience in the strategic sourcing field.
Experience needed in sourcing background and could include industrial or mechanical engineering to build trust from operational side.
Direct sourcing is a must, not from logistics field or indirect sourcing.
Pure sourcing role – digital skills and high level of proficiency in MS office (Excel)
Experience with sub-contracting and working within a matrix organization.
Familiar and comfortable working in a multinational with a process-oriented matrix structure.
Experience in a multi-national matrix and culture
They must be able to network well and influence.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Good values and compliance standards with excellent compliance.
Mature and energetic with good negotiation skills and ability to use initiative.
Technical mindset and knowledge of manufacturing is a plus & customer centric.
Fluent in English, oral and written is a MUST
