Counter Salesman

A well established Company based in the Garden Route - George, is looking for a Counter Salesman to join their sales team.

Job Description and Requirements:

• Sales of products and spares
• Receiving customers and booking their machines in for service
• Assisting customers by means of telephone and email.
• Corresponding with customers on email and whatsapp regarding status of machines booked in for service
• Capturing orders from customers into our IQ Retail Computer system
• Picking of orders for customers and arranging courier for delivery
• Picking of spare parts for workshop mechanics
• Other administrative functions
• Overtime work may be required from time to time.
• Must be willing and available to attend after-hour customer functions and events.
• Assisting with company stock counts as and when required.
• Must be willing to go beyond the call of duty.
• Attend weekly evening briefings after hours.
• Attend year end stock count after hours

Requirements:

• Matric
• 2 to 5 years internal sales experience
• IQ Retail Computer System will be an added benefit
• Excellent Communication Skills (English and Afrikaans - Verbal and Written)
• Own transport

Working hours:
Mon - Fri from 8am - 5pm
Every second Saturday from 8am-1pm 
Overtime may be required from time-to-time (paid overtime)

Salary: 
R10 000 Basic Salary + Additional R500 potential monthly bonus, based on sales targets achieved and performance based.
13th Cheque (Based on performance)
